Lavender Backyard Garden is a small, family-owned lavender and blueberry farm in Newstead, Hamilton, New Zealand. Benjamin and Samantha have always loved natural products, and in 2014 they were able to bring this dream. Lavender Backyard Garden lets them share the benefits of nature with their visitors. Tracey, a qualified personal care specialist, leads the team developing their premium collection of skin care products. These lavender products are available in the shop, along with a range of other products that use the natural healing properties of lavender. You will be surprised how many great ways there are to use this beautiful plant in your daily life!

Lavender Backyard Garden is privately-owned area which is open for flower-lovers from all over the world. ・No wedding photos in Lavender Backyard Garden allowed during business hour - Please refrain from wearing wedding dress or similar to it. ・No commercial photography allowed. ・No flying objects allowed – Please refrain from taking aerial photos and flying over Lavender Backyard Garden. Any wedding related photos or commercial or professional photography please enquire and book via email. Thank you.

Single-use plastic shopping bags are banned in New Zealand. We cannot provide you with single-use plastic shopping bags.
PYO Housekeeping rules:
Our bushes are all covered by white nettings to prevent birds from eating. Please don't use knife to cut through the netting or any other way which destroys the netting. You are welcome to try a few berries, but please refrain from eating until they have been paid.
It takes a lot of time and hard work to maintain the field and produce blueberries.
