Field Condition

- 4 rows of fully bloomed Pacific Blue lavender with the rest of the field a light purple colour which is the later lavender variety.

- Blueberry field is available for PYO.

- Blueberries normally starts its season around 15 Dec. Please understand that we still cannot guarantee fruit availabilities due to uncertainties such as weather condition.

Children must be accompanied by a full paying adult (1 adult for a maximum of 3 children), otherwise the booking is not valid. No booking no entry. Why book a time-slot for your visit?

In order to accommodate Covid-19 uncertainty, we introduce our Summer Activities Booking system.

Booking a time-slot to enter our fields will allow us to limit and control the number of customers allowed in the field at any given time, which plays a crucial role in ensuring that we are following government Covid-19 guideline.

What is the maximum number of people in each time-slot?

At the initial stage, we will open each time-slot with a maximum 50 people. The reason for this number is the chance of being in more restricted Covid-19 situation, where there is a limit of 50 people. 

Will you open more spots for people to enter in each time-slot?

It is possible, we will open more spots when the time is closer, it depends on Covid situation and restrictions. However, we will encourage you to book your spot now to avoid the disappointment.

Can we walk-in without booking a time-slot?

Booking is essential. Please make sure everyone is booked before you check out. No booking, no entry, especially during Covid-19 situation. We encourage you to book a time-slot now to secure your spot.

How early should we arrive before our time-slot? 

We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your time-slot if you would like to choose optional activities such as PYO blueberries or PYO lavender.

Do I need to book a ticket for my under 3 kid?

Yes.  Children are FREE including infants but they must have a ticket allocated prior to arrival to ensure we can accomodate your group. Children must be accompanied by a full paying adult- Must also have a ticket allocated. One adult for a maximum of three children, otherwise the booking is not valid.

Can I bring our dogs with us?

Sorry. No Dogs allowed on the property.

Can I smoke?

Sorry. Our farm is strictly No Smoking.

Can I fly drone?

Sorry. Our farm does not allow Flying Objects.

Do I need to provide Vaccine Pass when I enter Lavender Backyard Garden?

As you know the Government introduced the COVID-19 traffic light system and this means that our business needs to use Vaccine Passes if we wish to open under the new framework. 

Yes, please make sure you have Vaccine Pass with you on the day you arrive. Children under the age of 12 are considered exempt. If you are unable to provide your vaccine pass you won't be able to enter our farm. Entry ticket cannot be refunded if you can't provide your Vaccine Pass.

What about a negative Covid-19 Test - Can I use that instead of the Vaccine Pass?

Sorry, it is not something we are currently considering. 

Can my booking to be rescheduled or cancelled?  

Yes. If you need to make changes to your booking due to personal reason, you will be charged $10 administration fee per booking when you reschedule. Please contact us with email or phone no less than 48 hours in advance to reschedule your booking. Please note bookings cannot be refunded, exchanged or cancelled once issued except in accordance with the applicable laws of New Zealand. Please see the below Refund Policy for more details.

What happens if I make a booking and can no longer travel due to Covid-19 restrictions?

If you have made a booking to visit our farm and your travel plans are affected by New Zealand or Australian Government enforced travel restrictions, Covid-19 Protection Framework changes or our farm is unable to fulfil our services due to New Zealand Government Covid-19 Protection Framework changes, we can provide a refund for your booking. Please see the below Refund Policy for more details.

Refund Policy

Entry tickets cannot be refunded, exchanged or cancelled once issued except in accordance with the applicable laws of New Zealand.

In the event of a cancellation, the purchase less third party transaction fees (3.5%+0.3NZD) will be refunded directly to the credit card used for the original purchase. For example, when you pay $40 entry fee you will receive $38.30 money back.

Please understand that we are a family-owned small business. Since the third party transaction fees (i.e. Credit card etc. ) aren't returned to us when we issue a refund. It will be an enormous financial burden for us if we offer you full refund during Covid hardship. Please understand that we will deduct this fee from your purchase before we issue refund.
