How to Use Our Woody Lavender and Cedarwood Linen Spray
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the woody lavender and cedarwood linen spray made from?
It's a 300ml fabric and room spray made with our own lavender, Super Lavandin (Lavandula × intermedia 'Super'), and warm cedarwood essential oil. One or two light passes over sheets, pillows or towels is enough.
What does a lavender and cedarwood linen spray smell like?
It smells warm, dry and woody from the cedarwood, with fresh lavender on top, so it comes across clean and cosy rather than sweet. It's scented only with essential oils, never fragrance oil. Mist it over the spare-room bed and towels before guests arrive.
How do I use the woody linen spray, and how long does it last?
Shake gently, then mist sheets, pillows, towels or clothing lightly from about 30cm away and let it dry. Test delicate fabrics on a hidden spot first, and don't spray onto skin or pets. Once opened, it's best used within 24 months; store it cool and out of direct sunlight.
Does the woody linen spray contain nuts, coconut, beeswax or milk?
No, it doesn't contain nuts, coconut, beeswax or milk. Its scent comes only from lavender and cedarwood essential oils. The full ingredient list is on this page.
Who is the woody linen spray suitable for, and is it a good gift?
It suits anyone who likes a warm, woody scent on their sheets, towels and spare-room bed. It makes a thoughtful housewarming, birthday or thank-you gift, and suits people who prefer woody scents to sweet florals. If you're pregnant or buying for a young child, check with your healthcare provider first.
Where does the lavender in this woody linen spray come from?
It comes from our own family farm in Newstead, Waikato, New Zealand. We grow Super Lavandin (Lavandula × intermedia 'Super') spray-free and steam-distil the oil ourselves on the farm, then pair it with cedarwood essential oil for this woody linen spray.
How long does delivery take, and can I order from overseas?
We send every order by tracked courier within New Zealand: usually 3–5 working days in the North Island and 5–7 in the South Island and rural areas. You can order from anywhere in the world for delivery to a New Zealand address, but we only deliver within New Zealand.
