Why This Comfort & Care Gift Set – Kitchen Edition Is Special
Frequently Asked Questions
What's a practical gift for a mum who's always in the kitchen — is the Mother's Kitchen Comforting Treat Gift Set a good choice?
Yes — it's hand care for busy hands: a lavender hand wash for the sink, a lavender sugar scrub, a rich lavender hand cream and a tea towel, plus a jar of lavender fridge magnets, mini dried lavender flowers and a bookmark.
What occasions suit this lavender kitchen gift set for mum?
It suits Mother's Day, Mum's birthday, a new kitchen or home, keen cooks and bakers, and thank-you gifts for hosts.
Does this gift set arrive ready to give?
Yes — it arrives gift-boxed, ready to send straight to the recipient: just enter their address as the shipping address. To include a personal message, add one of our greeting cards to your order and write your message in the Gift message or special instructions box in your cart — we'll handwrite it on the card. Receipts are emailed to you, so no price or invoice goes in the parcel.
How does Mum use this lavender kitchen gift set?
Keep the hand wash by the kitchen sink. Once or twice a week, massage a little sugar scrub over damp hands and rinse, then finish with hand cream, especially before bed. The magnets brighten the fridge and the tea towel is for everyday use.
Does this lavender kitchen gift set for mum contain nuts, coconut, beeswax or milk?
The Lavender Hand Cream contains sweet almond oil and shea butter, the Lavender Hand Wash contains macadamia oil and coconut oil, and the Sugar Scrub contains coconut oil. Full ingredient lists are on each product's own page.
Where does the lavender in this gift set come from?
The hand wash, sugar scrub and hand cream are scented with Super Lavandin (Lavandula × intermedia 'Super') essential oil grown and steam-distilled on our family farm in Newstead, Waikato, and the dried flowers come from the same fields.
How long does delivery take within New Zealand for this gift set?
We send every order by tracked courier, with no signature needed. We aim to deliver within 3–5 working days in the North Island and 5–7 working days in the South Island and rural areas, and orders placed on a weekend or public holiday are sent the next business day.
Can I order this lavender kitchen gift set for mum from overseas for someone in New Zealand?
