Why This Night Skincare Gift for Her Is Special
Frequently Asked Questions
What's a luxurious skincare gift made with New Zealand Manuka honey — is Manuka Honey Skin Care Gift Sets a good choice?
Yes, it's a lovely evening skincare routine. It includes a lavender Manuka honey night cream, a lavender Manuka honey neck serum and a 150ml pure lavender hydrosol face toner, plus a pillow sachet, a satin silk lavender bag, a bookmark and a mini dried flower.
What makes the Manuka Honey Skin Care Gift Sets different from other lavender gift sets?
The face toner in this set is lavender floral water, collected when we distil our own essential oil on our farm in Newstead, Waikato. The night cream and neck serum combine our farm lavender oil with New Zealand manuka honey, and the neck serum also contains marine collagen.
What occasions suit this lavender Manuka honey skincare gift set?
It suits anniversaries, birthdays, Mother's Day, a wife or partner, and anyone who loves skincare.
Does this gift set arrive ready to give?
Yes — it arrives gift-boxed, ready to send straight to the recipient: just enter their address as the shipping address. To include a personal message, add one of our greeting cards to your order and write your message in the Gift message or special instructions box in your cart — we'll handwrite it on the card. Receipts are emailed to you, so no price or invoice goes in the parcel.
How do I use this lavender Manuka honey skincare gift set?
In the evening, mist the toner over clean skin, apply the serum to the neck and massage a little night cream over the face. Tuck the pillow sachet into the pillowcase and hang the satin bag in a wardrobe. Patch-test first if your skin is sensitive.
Does this lavender Manuka honey skincare gift set contain nuts, coconut, beeswax or milk?
The Manuka Honey Night Cream contains macadamia oil, shea butter and soybean oil, and the neck serum contains marine collagen. Both contain Manuka honey. The face toner is pure lavender hydrosol. None of the items contain coconut oil, beeswax or milk. Full ingredient lists are on each product's own page.
Where does the lavender in this gift set come from?
The night cream and neck serum are made with Super Lavandin (Lavandula × intermedia 'Super') essential oil grown and steam-distilled on our family farm in Newstead, Waikato. The face toner is pure lavender hydrosol, the floral water collected when we distil that oil, and the sachets and dried flower hold lavender from the same fields.
How long does delivery take within New Zealand for this gift set?
We send every order by tracked courier, with no signature needed. We aim to deliver within 3–5 working days in the North Island and 5–7 working days in the South Island and rural areas, and orders placed on a weekend or public holiday are sent the next business day.
Can I order this lavender Manuka honey skincare gift set from overseas for someone in New Zealand?
Yes. You can order the Manuka Honey Skin Care Gift Sets from anywhere in the world and we'll deliver it to any address in New Zealand — just enter the recipient's NZ address at checkout. We only deliver within New Zealand, so it can't be sent to an address overseas.
Lavender Backyard Garden Gift Sets Compared to Other Brands
| Features | Our Gift Sets | Many Other Gift Sets |
|---|---|---|
| Lavender Source | Grown and steam-distilled on our family farm in Newstead, Waikato, since 2014. | Lavender oil is often bought in from overseas, and its origin isn't always stated. |
| Own Brand | Most items are our own Lavender Backyard Garden® products, made in small batches at the farm with our own lavender essential oil. Keepsakes like bookmarks, pins and magnets are designed at the farm. | Many gift box shops buy in products from other brands and pack them into a box. |
| Lavender Variety | We name the variety: Super Lavandin (Lavandula × intermedia 'Super') for our essential oil and most body care, English lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) for our English lavender body oil and lotion, and 'Pacific Blue' for our teas and jams. | The lavender variety is rarely stated. |
| Dried Lavender | Grown spray-free and harvested on our farm for sachets and dried flowers. | May be imported and sometimes treated with sprays or preservatives. |
| Scent | Scented with our own lavender essential oil. Our goat milk, scrub and shaving soaps use an English lavender fragrance. | May use synthetic fragrance oils instead of essential oil. |
