What is the lavender body oil made from?
It's made with argan and avocado oils, blended with apricot kernel, sunflower and castor oils and our own lavender essential oil, with dried lavender from our farm in every bottle. It comes in 120ml or 200ml, and the oil is Super Lavandin (Lavandula × intermedia 'Super').
Why is there dried lavender inside the body oil bottle?
The dried lavender floating in every bottle is grown on our own farm and infused in the oil, so it looks pretty and adds to the scent. Together with our essential oil, it gives a bright, herbal 'Super' lavender scent that's soft and lightly sweet.
How do I use the body oil?
Pump a small amount into your hands and smooth it over damp or dry skin in gentle circles. It's lovely after a shower or bath, before bed, or as a massage oil. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Does the body oil contain nuts, coconut, beeswax or milk?
It contains argan oil, which we list as a tree nut, and apricot kernel oil. It doesn't contain coconut, beeswax or milk. The full ingredient list is on this page.
Who is the body oil suitable for, and is it a good gift?
It suits anyone who loves silky skin and a fresh lavender scent after a bath or shower. With dried lavender in every bottle, it makes a pretty birthday, Mother's Day or thank-you gift. Patch-test first if you have sensitive skin. If you're pregnant, check with your healthcare provider first.
Where does the lavender in this body oil come from?
It comes from our own family farm in Newstead, Waikato, New Zealand. We grow Super Lavandin (Lavandula × intermedia 'Super') spray-free and steam-distil the oil ourselves. The dried lavender inside each bottle is grown on our farm too.
How long does delivery take, and can I order from overseas?
We send every order by tracked courier within New Zealand: usually 3–5 working days in the North Island and 5–7 in the South Island and rural areas. You can order from anywhere in the world for delivery to a New Zealand address, but we only deliver within New Zealand.
