Why This New Home Gift Set NZ Is Special

  • Grown, cut, distilled – The lavender oil in the coconut candle and room spray comes from our own fields in Newstead, cut and steam-distilled once our open season ends. The essential oil in the box is that same oil.
  • Cut later, for scent – We hand-cut the lavender for the satin sachet later in summer, once the flowers are fully open and richest in scent, then let it air-dry.
  • Slow and by hand – The mini bundle starts as lavender cut by hand at the bud stage and dried naturally, a slow job that keeps the colour.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's a housewarming gift that fills a new home with a lovely scent — is the New Home Harmony Essence Gift Set a good choice?

Yes, it brings lavender into every room of a new home. The set holds a lavender reed diffuser, a lavender coconut wax candle, a mint and lavender room spray, a 10ml bottle of pure lavender essential oil and a satin lavender bag, plus a jar of lavender fridge magnets and a mini dried lavender flower.

What makes the New Home Harmony Essence Gift Set different from other lavender gift sets?

Every scented piece in this housewarming set uses lavender grown on our own farm in Newstead, Waikato. The coconut wax candle is scented only with our essential oil, never fragrance oil, the reed diffuser works without heat or power, and the satin bag holds buds hand-rubbed on the farm.

What occasions suit this lavender new home gift set?

It's made for housewarmings and moving day, and it also suits first homes, new flats, a new office, a wedding or a thank-you to a host.

Does this gift set arrive ready to give?

Yes — it arrives gift-boxed, ready to send straight to the recipient: just enter their address as the shipping address. To include a personal message, add one of our greeting cards to your order and write your message in the Gift message or special instructions box in your cart — we'll handwrite it on the card. Receipts are emailed to you, so no price or invoice goes in the parcel.

How do I use this lavender new home gift set?

Set the reed diffuser in a hallway or bathroom and flip the reeds every few days. Light the candle in the living room, spritz the room spray when guests arrive, and hang the satin bag in a wardrobe. Use the essential oil in a diffuser. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Does this lavender new home gift set contain nuts, coconut, beeswax or milk?

The candle is made with coconut wax. None of the items contain nuts, beeswax or milk. Full ingredient lists are on each product's own page.

Where does the lavender in this gift set come from?

The essential oil, reed diffuser, candle and room spray are made with Super Lavandin (Lavandula × intermedia 'Super') essential oil grown and steam-distilled on our family farm in Newstead, Waikato, and the satin bag and dried flower hold lavender from the same fields.

How long does delivery take within New Zealand for this gift set?

We send every order by tracked courier, with no signature needed. We aim to deliver within 3–5 working days in the North Island and 5–7 working days in the South Island and rural areas, and orders placed on a weekend or public holiday are sent the next business day.

Can I order this lavender new home gift set from overseas for someone in New Zealand?

Yes. You can order the New Home Harmony Essence Gift Set from anywhere in the world and we'll deliver it to any address in New Zealand — just enter the recipient's NZ address at checkout. We only deliver within New Zealand, so it can't be sent to an address overseas.
