Why This Gardener's Gift for Her Is Special

  • Our own still – The hand cream and hand wash are scented with oil from our own still in the Waikato, distilled each late summer from lavender we grow.
  • Made for eating – We grow 'Pacific Blue', a culinary English lavender, just for the kitchen. It's the lavender in the tea and jam.
  • Cut by hand in summer – Our team hand-harvests the lavender for the sachet once the blooms are at their most fragrant, and dries it naturally.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's a thoughtful gift for a woman who loves her garden and a good cup of tea — is Tea Time Therapy Gardening Gift Sets for Her a good choice?

Yes — it's hand care for after the garden and a treat for tea time: a lavender hand wash, a lavender hand sugar scrub and a lavender hand cream, plus lavender chamomile tea, a blueberry jam with a hint of lavender, two lavender sachets, a bookmark and a mini dried flower.

What occasions suit this lavender gardening gift set for her?

It suits keen gardeners, anniversaries, birthdays, Mother's Day, retirements and thank-you gifts.

Does this gift set arrive ready to give?

Yes — it arrives gift-boxed, ready to send straight to the recipient: just enter their address as the shipping address. To include a personal message, add one of our greeting cards to your order and write your message in the Gift message or special instructions box in your cart — we'll handwrite it on the card. Receipts are emailed to you, so no price or invoice goes in the parcel.

How does she use this lavender gardening gift set?

After gardening, wash hands with the hand wash, buff them with a little sugar scrub once or twice a week, then finish with hand cream. Brew a cup of lavender chamomile tea and enjoy the jam on scones or toast.

Does this lavender gardening gift set for her contain nuts, coconut, beeswax or milk?

The Lavender Hand Wash contains macadamia oil and coconut oil, the Hand Sugar Scrub contains coconut oil, the Lavender Hand Cream contains sweet almond oil and shea butter, and the tea contains chamomile, which some people with daisy-family allergies avoid. The jam is made with blueberries, sugar and a hint of culinary lavender. Full ingredient lists are on each product's own page.

Where does the lavender in this gift set come from?

The hand wash, sugar scrub and hand cream are made with Super Lavandin (Lavandula × intermedia 'Super') essential oil grown and steam-distilled on our family farm in Newstead, Waikato, and the sachets and dried flower hold lavender from the same fields. The tea and jam use our culinary English lavender (Lavandula angustifolia 'Pacific Blue'), and the jam's blueberries are grown on our farm too.

How long does delivery take within New Zealand for this gift set?

We send every order by tracked courier, with no signature needed. We aim to deliver within 3–5 working days in the North Island and 5–7 working days in the South Island and rural areas, and orders placed on a weekend or public holiday are sent the next business day.

Can I order this lavender gardening gift set for her from overseas for someone in New Zealand?

Yes. You can order the Tea Time Therapy Gardening Gift Sets for Her from anywhere in the world and we'll deliver it to any address in New Zealand — just enter the recipient's NZ address at checkout. We only deliver within New Zealand, so it can't be sent to an address overseas.
