Why This Exam Season Gift for Students Is Special

  • Our own still – The focus balm, focus mist and focus candle are scented with oil from our own still in the Waikato, distilled each late summer from lavender we grow.
  • Cut later, for scent – We hand-cut the lavender for the sachet later in summer, once the flowers are fully open and richest in scent, then let it air-dry.
  • Slow and by hand – The mini bundle starts as lavender cut by hand at the bud stage and dried naturally, a slow job that keeps the colour.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's a good gift for a student heading into exams — is the Mind Boost Study Kit Gift Set a good choice?

Yes, it's a good choice for exam season. It's designed for study and work time: a lavender rosemary focus balm for the wrists and temples, a focus mist for the desk or room, and a lavender rosemary soy candle to light while working. Rosemary brings a fresh, clear scent alongside the lavender, which makes it pleasant for long study sessions.

What makes the Mind Boost Study Kit Gift Set different from other lavender gift sets?

The balm, mist and candle in this kit are made with lavender oil distilled on our own farm in Newstead, Waikato. The soy candle is scented only with essential oil, never fragrance oil, and the rosemary-led blend gives a fresh, clear-headed scent for the desk.

What occasions suit this lavender rosemary focus gift set?

It suits students, exam season, graduations, a new job, working from home, or anyone juggling a busy mind. It's also a thoughtful birthday gift for teens and young adults.

Does this gift set arrive ready to give?

Yes — it arrives gift-boxed, ready to send straight to the recipient: just enter their address as the shipping address. To include a personal message, add one of our greeting cards to your order and write your message in the Gift message or special instructions box in your cart — we'll handwrite it on the card. Receipts are emailed to you, so no price or invoice goes in the parcel.

How do I use this lavender rosemary focus gift set while studying?

Light the focus candle at the start of a study or work session. Mist the focus spray into the air around your desk, and rub a little focus balm onto the wrists or temples when you need a reset. Keep the sachet in a pencil case or bag. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Does this lavender rosemary focus gift set contain nuts, coconut, beeswax or milk?

The Lavender Rosemary Focus Balm contains beeswax and coconut oil. None of the items contain nuts or milk. Full ingredient lists are on each product's own page.

Where does the lavender in this gift set come from?

The focus balm, mist and candle are made with Super Lavandin (Lavandula × intermedia 'Super') essential oil grown and steam-distilled on our family farm in Newstead, Waikato, blended with rosemary and other essential oils for a fresh, clear scent. The sachet holds lavender from the same fields.

How long does delivery take within New Zealand for this gift set?

We send every order by tracked courier, with no signature needed. We aim to deliver within 3–5 working days in the North Island and 5–7 working days in the South Island and rural areas, and orders placed on a weekend or public holiday are sent the next business day.

Can I order this lavender rosemary focus gift set from overseas for someone in New Zealand?

Yes. You can order the Mind Boost Study Kit Gift Set from anywhere in the world and we'll deliver it to any address in New Zealand — just enter the recipient's NZ address at checkout. We only deliver within New Zealand, so it can't be sent to an address overseas.
