Why This Body Care Gift for Dad Is Special
Frequently Asked Questions
What's a good Father's Day gift for a dad who never treats himself — is the Calm & Comfort Gift for Father's Day a good choice?
Yes, it's a generous set of everyday care he probably wouldn't buy himself. It includes a men's body oil and body lotion with lavender and sandalwood, a goat milk soap, a lip balm and a sleep balm for winding down. The eucalyptus bundle and herb sachet add a fresh, outdoorsy scent rather than a floral one.
What makes the Calm & Comfort Gift for Father’s Day different from other lavender gift sets?
The lavender oil in the body oil, body lotion, lip balm and Sleep Balm is distilled on our family farm in Newstead, Waikato. The eucalyptus, rosemary and lavender in the sachet are all grown spray-free on the same farm, the lip balm is made with shea butter and beeswax, and the box is packed by hand there.
What occasions suit this lavender gift for dad?
Father's Day is the most popular, and it also suits birthdays, Christmas, a retirement, or a thank-you for a dad, grandad, husband or partner.
Does this gift arrive ready to give?
Yes — it arrives gift-boxed, ready to send straight to the recipient: just enter their address as the shipping address. To include a personal message, add one of our greeting cards to your order and write your message in the Gift message or special instructions box in your cart — we'll handwrite it on the card. Receipts are emailed to you, so no price or invoice goes in the parcel.
How does he use this lavender gift for dad?
Wash with the goat milk soap, then use the body oil on damp skin or the body lotion once dry. Keep the lip balm in a pocket, and rub a little sleep balm onto the temples before bed. Hang the eucalyptus bundle in the shower — the steam releases its fresh scent.
Does this lavender gift for dad contain nuts, coconut, beeswax or milk?
The Men's Body Lotion and Lavender Lip Balm contain sweet almond oil, and the Men's Body Oil contains apricot kernel and argan oils. The goat milk soap contains goat milk and coconut oil, and the lip balm and sleep balm contain beeswax and coconut oil. Full ingredient lists are on each product's own page.
Where does the lavender in this gift come from?
The body oil, body lotion, lip balm and sleep balm are made with Super Lavandin (Lavandula × intermedia 'Super') essential oil grown and steam-distilled on our family farm in Newstead, Waikato, and the eucalyptus, rosemary and lavender in the sachet and bundle are grown on the same farm. The goat milk soap is scented with English lavender fragrance.
How long does delivery take within New Zealand for this gift?
We send every order by tracked courier, with no signature needed. We aim to deliver within 3–5 working days in the North Island and 5–7 working days in the South Island and rural areas, and orders placed on a weekend or public holiday are sent the next business day.
