How to Use Our Lavender Car Diffuser
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the lavender car diffuser made from?
It's a slim vent clip in natural oak wood or space-grey aluminium that holds a fibre stick soaked in pure lavender essential oil. The oil is Super Lavandin (Lavandula × intermedia 'Super'), with a soft, herbal scent. Refill sticks come singly or in 5-packs.
Does the lavender car diffuser need power or batteries?
No, it needs no heat, plug or batteries. Your car's airflow carries the lavender scent through the stick and into the car on its own. The clip fits most standard blade vents.
How do I use the car diffuser, and how long does a stick last?
Clip it onto an air vent, slide in a scented stick and turn on the fan. Each stick lasts about 2–4 weeks: the scent is strongest for the first few days, then gently softens. Slide in a fresh refill when it fades, and keep spares sealed somewhere cool.
Does the car diffuser contain nuts, coconut, beeswax or milk?
No, it doesn't contain nuts, coconut, beeswax or milk. It's an oak wood or aluminium holder with a fibre stick soaked in lavender essential oil. The full ingredient list is on this page.
Who is the car diffuser suitable for, and is it a good gift?
It suits anyone who spends time in the car, from commuters to parents on the school run. It makes a handy gift for a new driver or a friend who's always on the road. If you're pregnant or often drive with a young child, check with your healthcare provider first.
Where does the lavender in this car diffuser come from?
It comes from our own family farm in Newstead, Waikato, New Zealand. We grow Super Lavandin (Lavandula × intermedia 'Super'), harvest it in summer and steam-distil the oil ourselves, then soak every diffuser stick in it.
How long does delivery take, and can I order from overseas?
We send every order by tracked courier within New Zealand: usually 3–5 working days in the North Island and 5–7 in the South Island and rural areas. You can order from anywhere in the world for delivery to a New Zealand address, but we only deliver within New Zealand.
