1. Who we are
This website is run by Lavender Backyard Garden Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), trading as Lavender Backyard Garden®, a lavender farm at 398 Marshmeadow Rd, RD6, Hamilton 3286, New Zealand. You can contact us at info@lavenderbackyard.co.nz.

By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them along with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of these terms.

2. Our products
Our products are made in small batches on our farm with lavender we grow ourselves. Because they're made from natural ingredients, colour, scent and appearance can vary slightly from batch to batch and from the photos on our website.

Our products are for general wellbeing and enjoyment. They are not medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any condition. Full ingredient lists are on each product page. If you have allergies or sensitive skin, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, please check the ingredients and patch-test before use. Essential oils must be diluted before they touch the skin and kept away from children and pets.

3. Prices and payment
All prices are in New Zealand dollars. We may change prices at any time, but the price you pay is the one shown when you place your order. Payment is taken at checkout through our secure payment providers. We never see or store your full card details.

If a product is listed at the wrong price because of an obvious error, we'll contact you before sending your order, and you can choose to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

4. Orders
Your order is accepted once we send you an order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if there is a pricing error, or if we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund you in full.

5. Delivery
We deliver within New Zealand only. Delivery costs, times and how we send your parcel are set out in our Shipping Policy.

6. Returns and refunds
Our Refund Policy explains how to return an item and how refunds work. Nothing in these terms or our policies limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.

7. Reviews and messages
If you post a review or send us feedback, you confirm it is honest and your own, and you let us display it on our website and social media. We may remove content that is offensive, misleading or unlawful.

8. Our content
All text, photos, logos and designs on this website belong to Lavender Backyard Garden Ltd or are used with permission. Please don't copy or reuse them without our written permission. Lavender Backyard Garden® is a registered trade mark.

9. Links to other websites
Our website may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.

10. Liability
We take care to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date, but mistakes can happen. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or products. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under New Zealand consumer law that cannot be excluded.

11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you place your order is the one that applies to that order.

12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
