Why This Wind-Down Gift Set for Her Is Special
Frequently Asked Questions
What's a self-care gift for a woman who's on her feet all day — is Lavender Magnesium Women's Gift Sets a good choice?
Yes, it's a simple evening routine for her. It includes a lavender magnesium oil spray to massage into legs and feet, and a lavender magnesium sleep cream for the neck and shoulders before bed, plus a bookmark and a mini dried flower.
What makes the Lavender Magnesium Women's Gift Sets different from other lavender gift sets?
Both the magnesium oil spray and the sleep cream in this set are made with lavender oil we steam-distil on our own Newstead farm. The oil is Lavandula × intermedia 'Super', grown spray-free in Waikato, and the mini dried flower comes from the same fields, dried and bunched by hand.
What occasions suit this lavender magnesium gift set for her?
It suits birthdays, nurses, teachers, hospitality workers, busy mums, wellness gifts and thank-yous.
Does this gift set arrive ready to give?
Yes — it arrives gift-boxed, ready to send straight to the recipient: just enter their address as the shipping address. To include a personal message, add one of our greeting cards to your order and write your message in the Gift message or special instructions box in your cart — we'll handwrite it on the card. Receipts are emailed to you, so no price or invoice goes in the parcel.
How does she use this lavender magnesium gift set?
In the evening, spray the magnesium oil onto the legs or feet and massage it in. Before bed, massage a little sleep cream onto the neck and shoulders. Patch-test the magnesium oil first and avoid broken skin.
Does this lavender magnesium gift set for her contain nuts, coconut, beeswax or milk?
The Lavender Magnesium Sleep Cream contains sweet almond oil, macadamia oil, shea butter, soybean oil and marine collagen. The magnesium oil contains none of these, and none of the items contain coconut oil, beeswax or milk. Full ingredient lists are on each product's own page.
Where does the lavender in this gift set come from?
The magnesium oil and sleep cream are made with Super Lavandin (Lavandula × intermedia 'Super') essential oil grown and steam-distilled on our family farm in Newstead, Waikato, and the dried flower comes from the same fields.
How long does delivery take within New Zealand for this gift set?
We send every order by tracked courier, with no signature needed. We aim to deliver within 3–5 working days in the North Island and 5–7 working days in the South Island and rural areas, and orders placed on a weekend or public holiday are sent the next business day.
Can I order this lavender magnesium gift set for her from overseas for someone in New Zealand?
Yes. You can order the Lavender Magnesium Women's Gift Sets from anywhere in the world and we'll deliver it to any address in New Zealand — just enter the recipient's NZ address at checkout. We only deliver within New Zealand, so it can't be sent to an address overseas.
Lavender Backyard Garden Gift Sets Compared to Other Brands
| Features | Our Gift Sets | Many Other Gift Sets |
|---|---|---|
| Lavender Source | Grown and steam-distilled on our family farm in Newstead, Waikato, since 2014. | Lavender oil is often bought in from overseas, and its origin isn't always stated. |
| Own Brand | Most items are our own Lavender Backyard Garden® products, made in small batches at the farm with our own lavender essential oil. Keepsakes like bookmarks, pins and magnets are designed at the farm. | Many gift box shops buy in products from other brands and pack them into a box. |
| Lavender Variety | We name the variety: Super Lavandin (Lavandula × intermedia 'Super') for our essential oil and most body care, English lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) for our English lavender body oil and lotion, and 'Pacific Blue' for our teas and jams. | The lavender variety is rarely stated. |
| Dried Lavender | Grown spray-free and harvested on our farm for sachets and dried flowers. | May be imported and sometimes treated with sprays or preservatives. |
| Scent | Scented with our own lavender essential oil. Our goat milk, scrub and shaving soaps use an English lavender fragrance. | May use synthetic fragrance oils instead of essential oil. |
