Why This Home Scent Gift for Her Is Special

  • Field to bottle – We grow the Super Lavandin, cut it in late summer and distil it on the farm in Newstead. That's the essential oil in this set.
  • Cut by hand in summer – Our team hand-harvests the lavender for the sachet once the blooms are at their most fragrant, and dries it naturally.
  • Slow and by hand – The mini bundle starts as lavender cut by hand at the bud stage and dried naturally, a slow job that keeps the colour.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's a calming gift for someone who loves a fresh-smelling home — is the Tranquil Retreat Home Fragrance Gift Set a good choice?

Yes, it scents the whole home without a flame. Inside are a lavender reed diffuser, a 10ml bottle of pure lavender essential oil, two lavender sachets, a pastel felt ball keyring that works as a mini diffuser, and mini dried lavender flowers.

What makes the Tranquil Retreat Home Fragrance Gifts Sets different from other lavender gift sets?

This set scents a home with lavender oil we distil ourselves on our farm in Newstead, Waikato. The reed diffuser needs no heat or power, the 10ml essential oil is our award-winning Lavandula × intermedia 'Super', and the two sachets hold spray-free buds hand-rubbed on the farm.

What occasions suit this lavender home fragrance gift set?

It suits housewarmings, birthdays, Mother's Day, new flats, rentals where candles aren't allowed, and thank-you gifts.

Does this gift set arrive ready to give?

Yes — it arrives gift-boxed, ready to send straight to the recipient: just enter their address as the shipping address. To include a personal message, add one of our greeting cards to your order and write your message in the Gift message or special instructions box in your cart — we'll handwrite it on the card. Receipts are emailed to you, so no price or invoice goes in the parcel.

How do I use this lavender home fragrance gift set?

Place the reed diffuser in a hallway or bathroom and flip the reeds every few days. Add 2–3 drops of essential oil to the felt ball keyring and clip it to a bag or keys, and tuck the sachets into drawers or wardrobes. Keep the essential oil away from children and pets, and don't apply it undiluted to skin.

Does this lavender home fragrance gift set contain nuts, coconut, beeswax or milk?

No — none of the items contain nuts, coconut, beeswax or milk. Full ingredient lists are on each product's own page.

Where does the lavender in this gift set come from?

The essential oil and reed diffuser are made with Super Lavandin (Lavandula × intermedia 'Super') essential oil grown and steam-distilled on our family farm in Newstead, Waikato, and the sachets and dried flowers come from the same fields.

How long does delivery take within New Zealand for this gift set?

We send every order by tracked courier, with no signature needed. We aim to deliver within 3–5 working days in the North Island and 5–7 working days in the South Island and rural areas, and orders placed on a weekend or public holiday are sent the next business day.

Can I order this lavender home fragrance gift set from overseas for someone in New Zealand?
